I recently decided it was time to learn how to create photorealistic architectural renderings, you know, the images where you’re not sure whether they’re a photograph or a computer generated illustration. I’ve always resisted that kind of image making as it seemed to me to lack heart, but it was time to learn because so many clients have wanted that kind of image. So I took on the challenge and in the process realized I had also attained the ability to create photorealistic animated fly-throughs. Not a bad outcome. Here is one of my first projects in that hyper realistic drawing style. To create these images I opened a model I had made several years ago of a gift store designed for an aquarium in Arizona called Aquatic Oasis that had been developed through Event Network. I think this is what their store looks like, and importantly to me, I have learned how to do it. Better late than never!Aquatic Oasis
