The Dinosaur Gift Store in the American Museum of Natural History is located in two adjoined rooms and both rooms have extremely high ceilings. It’s an awkward space for a gift store, any design solution offered seemed a challenge. The design chosen includes large, historically accurate painted backdrops hanging from the ceilings depicting roaming dinosaurs, conifer forests and flying Pterodactyls. The design also includes giant tree trunks and plants set among the wall fixtures, as well as a digitally created forest floor printed on vinyl. It’s a compelling and complete environment.Themed museum store design and visualization
